Empowering Quilombola Communities Through Education

Quilombolas are traditional communities of African descent in Brazil, rooted in resistance to slavery and the preservation of culture, identity and ancestral territory. Many still face geographic and economic barriers to higher education. In the Brazilian Amazon, GRAN provides full undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships, opening pathways to professional opportunity, representation and lasting community development.

A Global Commitment to Women’s Leadership

Since 2021, GRAN has been a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, aligning its strategy with universal principles on human rights, labor, the environment and anti corruption. Gran has joined five of its Ambition 2030 movements, including Elas Lideram, meaning Women Lead. Through this commitment, the company promotes the Women’s Empowerment Principles and seeks gender parity in senior leadership. By April 2025, women held 39% of GRAN’s senior leadership roles, surpassing the initial target of 30% and advancing toward 50% by 2030.

Education Beyond Geographic
Barriers

Brazil is a continental country where access to high quality education has historically been concentrated in major urban centers. Gran now reaches students in more than 4,900 municipalities, nearly nine out of every ten across the country. Almost half of its students live in cities with fewer than 200,000 residents. By combining technology, affordability and scale, GRAN brings education and career opportunities to communities far beyond Brazil’s largest capitals.

Best-selling author on discipline, performance, and purpose.

Imparáveis

Born from Gabriel's YouTube journey, which began in late 2018. It gathers a curated collection of real stories of perseverance shared by GRAN's students and instructors — people who transformed their lives through education. With a foreword by judge and professor Aragonê Fernandes, it is also a social project, with proceeds directed to charitable organizations.

Viva o Improvável

An independent, complementary follow-up to the first book, with more than 60% new content. Gabriel selected his best writing from recent years and added contributions from civil-service exam specialists (such as Aragonê Fernandes, Elias Santana, and Wellington Antunes). Same social purpose: proceeds go toward fighting hunger among families in vulnerable situations.

Disciplina Imparável

How to escape the grim average that kills dreams. Written with Geronimo Theml, the book offers 42 reflections for overcoming the fear of the odds and refusing the mediocrity that holds dreams captive. It brings together articles already read by more than 2 million people. It reached #1 in Education on Amazon Kindle within 24 hours, and 100% of sales are donated to the O Bem Nunca Para institute in the fight against child hunger.

Manual do Imparável (Vol. 2)

The life philosophy for doing what needs to be done and growing in every area of life. Written with Gustavo Borges, it is divided into four parts: human emotions, our relationship with time, the way we see our dreams, and the ability to decide. Discipline at a champion's level — the kind who never give up, whatever the circumstances. A best-seller in Amazon Kindle's Education category.

Manual do Imparável (Vol. 1)

A collection of Gabriel Granjeiro's most-read writings on motivation, perseverance, and resilience, alongside articles by guest instructors from GRAN. Made for those who fail, fall, but never give up — created especially for anyone pursuing a civil-service exam. All proceeds from the print edition are donated to the O Bem Nunca Para institute.
